After two years of operating the one area of the sling world that we felt wasn’t getting the love it deserves locally, was woven wraps. Perhaps wrapping is the area with most mystic and where the learning curve is steeper; but for those who embrace it the rewards are even greater.
We have therefore tried to remedy this by introducing a range of ways to help you with wrapping.
Firstly, we have a monthly meet dedicated to wrappers. This operates within the Friday morning session at Middle Wallop Community Centre and has the added bonus f bacon butties available. One of our peer supporters, who is a dedicated wrappper attends to guide parents and help them develop their skill set.
Secondly, we run regular wrappers workshops to enable new parents to find out more. There are so many choices when it comes to buying a wrap that it can be daunting for a newcomer, so believing knowledge is power we are there to help you learn enough to get started.
Thirdly, we have enrolled in the Firespiral Fledgling Scheme to help parents who decide to wrap buy a lovely wrap at a discounted price. We hope that our members who grow to love wrapping will find this a great way to be able to own a Fispi beauty.
